FDotD is produced by Erin Murphy and Skip Murphy of the Peak Performer Team at Coldwell Banker in Redding, as a free service to homebuyers. Most people don’t buy or sell real estate every day, so it’s hard to keep on top of the few good deals. We put this site together to keep you informed.

Our goal is to post new something every day, since new inventory appears daily. We try to post the best deal on a bank-owned or government-seized real estate currently on the market. Or, at least the most intriguing new listing. Sometimes we are amused by what we see, and that may be reflected here. If you don’t appreciate the humor, we understand. REO (institutionally owned real estate) is a tough-as-nails business. These properties all have some kind of story of failure at their core. Sometimes it’s good to laugh, because otherwise we’d only cry, but your mileage may vary. If you disagree with our approach, then by all means, don’t read our blog. Have a nice day!
