Regular FDotD viewers will recall this one from Jan 1. Back then, it was priced at $158K, and sold right away. We got a few calls on it (call back please!). Not sure what happened to that escrow, but here it is again for a mere $10K more. If you recall, there’s a 24 x 33 shop. Seller is generously offering you 3% of your own money to cover costs associated with their asset disposal. If you are financing the purchase, you will then pay interest on that 3% money for the term. No, their generosity is not a thinly veiled scam, at least no more so than automobile “rebates.” Just an emotional appeal to your instinct to get something for free, and banking business as usual in our modern times. Was it a failure to fully understand the implications of long term debt that got us here in the first place?
