Here’s a new bank-owned listing in north Redding. It’s on an acre that slopes down to a seasonal stream, which forms a sort of shared greenbelt. The home is situated to use the slope to advantage, with a 2 car carport underneath the back. It has a fireplace. The deck needs some work, and the carpet is destroyed, but it has promise. Representing the bank’s interests in the sale is foreclosure listing agent Kevin Burns of Coldwell Banker. He writes of it:
“Great buy on this home on over 1 acre. Features include: 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1452 square feet, large deck and nice backyard. “

Interestingly, there’s an empty house across the street. We are reminded of the “shadow inventory” of unsold bank-owned homes lurking around. Nobody really knows how much there is. Plus, there’s more coming. Check this link from California’s Attorney General.
Welcome back. Always good to see you here. Thanks for reading!
